 -on experience based on a real-life example of a file system that you prob
 ably have somewhere\, but never looked at.\n\nPlease bring a laptop and ha
 ve a handful of tools installed:\n- a hex viewer such as [ImHex](https://g
 ithub.com/werwolv/imhex)\, `xxd`\, `hexdump`\, `hd`\, `hexedit` or whateve
 r you prefer\n- a setup to write a little program in your favourite langua
 ge (I suggest Rust or Python\, but it's up to you)\n- a web browser to dow
 nload a file 🤫\n\nYou will learn how to spot patterns in a file system 
 dump\, how to recognize some basic data structures\, and how to write a li
 ttle parser to further understand them\, until you end up with a tool to e
 xtract actual files.
